The order comprises of delivery, commissioning and a two-year service and maintenance agreement. The 18 units will be installed at three project sites each of which will comprise of six turbines with a total installed capacity of 9.9 MW. Delivery is scheduled for the autumn of 2008 and commissioning is expected to be completed in December 2008.
Vestas wins Canada order
Vestas has received an order for 18 units of the V82-1.65 MW turbine for three projects near Lake Erie in the province of Ontario, Canada. The order has been placed by AIM PowerGen, a subsidiary of Canadian wind developer Renewable Energy Generation.
