One of the plants will be built in Maasvlakte in the Netherlands, and in Germany one at Stade and the other in either BrunsbĂ¼ttel or Wilhelmshafen.
The plants have an 800 MW capacity and will be linked to the power grid in 2012.
The €2 billion deal includes the delivery and engineering of all the key components including the steam generator, turbine and generator together with the entire flue gas cleaning system.
