CertifHy and GH2 India have formed a strategic partnership to help Indian hydrogen stakeholders prepare for access to the EU market for RFNBO molecules. The initial focus is on promoting CertifHy Academy training in India, with the collaboration expected to expand into broader knowledge-sharing on renewable hydrogen and e-fuels.
Under the agreement, GH2 India will distribute CertifHy’s certification training to Indian market participants, while CertifHy provides the e-learning content. The two organisations also plan India-specific guidance materials, workshops and Q&A sessions covering certification rules, audit readiness, documentation and sustainability criteria.
The partnership comes as India scales up renewable hydrogen development under its National Green Hydrogen Mission and as certification becomes more important for export access, investor confidence and project readiness. For Indian producers, meeting EU requirements on renewable electricity sourcing, emissions accounting and traceability will be essential to qualify for RFNBO markets.
CertifHy said the collaboration begins with knowledge-building but is intended to support a wider framework that helps Indian stakeholders secure EU certification when needed.
GH2 India said the effort is aimed at giving the sector the right tools and understanding to build long-term trust and sustainability into export-oriented hydrogen projects.
