MAN Energy Solutions is now trading under its new name Everllence, which came into effect worldwide on 4 June. The renaming will have no impact on its product, EPC solution or service portfolio, but PrimeServ is now Everllence PrimeServ, while for two-stroke engines, products are preceded by ‘Everllence B&W. For four-stroke engines, the company name is not included as a prefix.

MAN believes that by changing its name it is continuing its corporate strategy ‘Moving big things to zero’ and thus also its focus on industrial decarbonisation technologies as a growth driver. For this reason, MAN Diesel & Turbo became MAN Energy Solutions back in 2018. Everllence will remain part of the Volkswagen Group.

At that time, MAN was at the beginning of is journey, but it is no longer known in the market just for engines and turbomachinery, but also as a supplier of large heat pumps, carbon capture and storage, as a driver of climate-neutral shipping, and as part of the hydrogen ramp-up. It hopes to reflect this success and the evolved profile of the company with the new name change.
