The companies will jointly operate the 840 MW plant, scheduled for completion in summer 2009, which will use two SGT5-4000F gas turbines, one SST6-5000 steam turbine and three generators. The scope of supply also includes the entire mechanical equipment with two heat-recovery steam generators, the electrical system, the I&C system as well as a 22 km gas pipeline to connect the plant to the national gas transmission network.
The contract, including a long-term service agreement, is valued at approximately €500 million.
