The Nordex Group has secured a new order in Türkiye from Eksim Enerji A.Ş. for 16 N175/6.X turbines with a combined capacity of 110 MW. The machines will be installed at the Balıkesir-3 wind farm in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir province and delivered in a Cold Climate Version on 119-metre tubular steel towers.

The contract also includes a 10-year Premium Service Agreement, giving the project long-term maintenance and performance support. Nordex said the site’s wind conditions and higher elevations make it a good fit for the N175/6.X platform, which is designed to deliver strong yields over time.

Eksim Enerji is one of Nordex’s longest-standing customers, with a relationship dating back to 2010. The company’s renewable portfolio now totals 832.8 MW of installed wind capacity. Nordex said the deal underlines both the strength of that partnership and Türkiye’s importance as a market, where it has been the market leader since 2017.

The turbines are also said to comply with the YEKA-2025 local content requirements, supporting domestic manufacturing and value creation in Türkiye.
